Kia Rio is just great!
I have had my Kia Rio for two years now, and I still love him (he's called Blade). The boot is big enough for any normal shopping trip, and with the seats folded down, I was able to transport a large bookshelf. Totally reliable, 400 miles on one tank of petrol, what more could you want?!
